Terra Natura International B.V. (TNI) takes privacy seriously. In this privacy statement, we explain what personal data we collect and use, for what purpose we do so, and how we ensure that this personal data is properly secured.

Privacy Policy
As a data controller, TNI processes, manages and secures personal data with the utmost care. We provide visitors to our website with a secure platform for information. In doing so, we comply with the requirements set out in the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and national legislation. We have set out how we meet these requirements in our Privacy Regulations.

Personal data and purpose of processing
We use personal data – namely a User’s name, telephone number and email address – when the User in question has provided this personal data to TNI via the website, for example by completing the contact form. TNI uses this personal data exclusively for the purpose for which the User provided it to TNI.

Security and storage
The organisation takes appropriate measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorised access and other undesirable actions involving personal data. These measures, including encryption via an SSL certificate, ensure a level of security appropriate to the data we process. These measures are set out in our privacy policy. Among other things, TNI has a clean desk policy and staff are not permitted to take data home. In addition, the IT department provides guidelines on changing passwords regularly. The personal data collected is not retained for longer than is necessary. TNI adheres to the statutory retention periods.

Google Analytics
As we wish to understand how our visitors use the website so that we can optimise its functionality, we use Google Analytics. To this end, we have entered into a data processing agreement with Google. Consequently, Google cookies are placed via this website. The information is anonymised as far as possible. Your IP address is expressly not used. We are therefore unable to trace the data back to you personally. For more information about Google Analytics’ policy, click here

Third parties
As a general rule, personal data is not shared with third parties. If data is shared, this is done solely because it is necessary for the performance of a contract or to comply with a legal obligation. Agreements are made with organisations that process your data on behalf of the organisation to ensure that your data is properly secured there too. This is done by means of a so-called Data Processing Agreement or through a privacy statement in the General Terms and Conditions of that third party.

Information and rights
You have the right to object to the processing of your data and you have the right to access, correct or delete your data. You may also, where applicable, ask the organisation to restrict the processing of your personal data or to transfer your data to yourself or to a third party. Changes to the privacy statement
We reserve the right to amend this privacy statement. If a revised version is adopted, we will provide a clear notice of this, including information on the most significant changes. We will also indicate when the statement was last amended.
